Night Qualification (NQ)

Night Qualification (NQ) is normally the next step for a Private Plane Certificate (PPL) pilot.

You will undergo a short theoretical module and a minimum of 5 hours of practical flight training. It is only required to take the course to acquire NQ - no skill test is required. Incidentally, an NQ never expires.

NQ will allow you to fly VFR at night. Night VFR is more demanding than VFR in daytime and it is also subject to more strict weather restrictions. NQ does not necessarily provide free play for long cross country flights at night, but it is particularly useful for longer flights that end at dusk or when delays force the flight into the night hours. If you want to become a professional pilot, then night flight is an important discipline to master.

At Aeropole you can choose to take your night training in a glass cockpit (Garmin G1000) or on traditional instruments.

Due to the bright summer nights, we usually offer night training from September to April.
